Kemba Walker is a fan of the NBA

What do you do when you have picked up your dribble 18 feet from the basket and have no shot and no one to pass it to? Well if you are UConn star Kemba Walker you simply lob the ball off the backboard to yourself and smoothly lay the ball in for two points. ESPN's Andy Katz asked how much he was thinking of LeBron James who pulled a similar move against the Pacers a couple of nights ago. Walker responded by saying he actually thinking of Kobe Bryant, who has done it a few times himself. Throwing it through the FUGO translator, I am pretty sure Kemba is saying, "No I do not model myself after LeBron, he screwed an entire city. Now Kobe, he only screwed that one girl in Colorado."

Friday wrapup

Last night featured marquee several matchups. The headliner was this season's first bout between Sidney Crosby and Alex Ovechkin that I did didn't watch because it wasn't on TV. The under card was led by Kobe Bryant versus LeBron James that I didn't watch because I didn't care. So what did I watch? Well, the first two hour episode of the 24 premier which sucked because 24 sucks these days. Don't worry, I'll keep watching because I'm stupid. Also, I watched one of the least hot matchups you'll ever seen in women's tennis, Justine Henin taking out 27 seed Alisa Kleybanova in 3 sets. Wait was that mean? That was mean. The tennis was beautiful until the hulking Kleybanova wilted in the Australian heat and humidity and got blown off the court by the sleeker Henin. Hey Justine, wear a longer skirt next time, your massive black cock is showing!

Also blown off the court last night was the men's 7 seed Andy Roddick. I assume he was blown off the court given that he's married to swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker. On the court he served to a crisp 74% first service percentage en route to a tidy 4 set win over pesky Spaniard Felciano Lopez.

This is why Duke sucks

Lots going on in the sports world last night. Lebron James dropped 52 amidst a triple double on the Knicks. That was the second most points ever scored in a triple double, and the first time a team had given up 50 points to an opponent in consecutive games in 40 something years. The Knicks let Kobe Bryant run rampant for 61, the most ever points scored in Madison Square Garden, in their previous game.

Wake Forest lost to Miami in college hoops. The #6 team in the nation has now dropped three out of their last four games. Of course that one win was over Duke, who was also in action last night at 10th ranked Clemson. How did that go? Hahahahahaha! That gives me a chance to revisit one of my all time favorite YouTube posts. Enjoy! With speakers if you're at work, cause they use some naughty language in this one.
